Nice Picture Inc. is a Toronto-based Production Company founded by Jennifer Weiss that specializing in feature film and television productions. The company strives to work with underrepresented voices and bring awareness to these narratives and stories. Nice Picture most recently produced Molly McGlynn’s highly-anticipated second feature film, Fitting In, starring Maddie Ziegler and D’Pharoah Woon-A-Tai. It premiered at SXSW and continued on the festival circuit, including at 2023’s TIFF. The film’s February 2023 theatrically released in Canada and the US gained a certified 95% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. Jennifer Weiss is an award-winning Canadian independent producer with over 25 years of industry experience. Originally one of the co-founder of the internationally reputable production company The Film Farm, Jennifer has produced films by globally-acclaimed directors including Sarah Polley, Laurent Cantet, Atom Egoyan, Brian De Palma, Sook-Yin Lee, and Darlene Naponse. Her films have been screened internationally, and have won awards at major festivals including Cannes, Venice, Sundance, and TIFF. In 2021, Jennifer launched Nice Picture Inc., her solo venture to continue supporting emerging talent and amplifying underrepresented Canadian filmmaking voices.
